Reportable Poultry Diseases in Florida

Across Florida, poultry operations are expected to report certain diseases to state or federal authorities to help control outbreaks and safeguard animal health. Prompt reporting plays a key role in maintaining biosecurity and reducing the spread of disease within commercial and small-scale flocks.

Contact information for the relevant state authorities is provided below, alongwith a list of diseases that must be reported. Producers should notify theappropriate office if they observe signs consistent with a reportable disease.
